Marquees can be hired on any date. The most popular hire periods are long weekends, Thursday-Monday or Friday-Tuesday. Should you need the marquee midweek, or for an extended period, this is also possible. Let us know your requirements and we’ll do our utmost to cater for you.

The cost of a marquee hire is dependant on the size required, the duration of the hire and the interior decor included. You can find our base costings for the most popular marquees on our packages page. 

Internal furnishings such as lining, flooring, heating, tables and seating are all priced based on the specification required. Our team will provide a quote based on this or any help and recommendations you may need. 

Yes, a £250 deposit is required to secure your booking. The balance is due 48 hours prior to the first day of your hire.

The deposit can be paid with a credit or debit card over the phone, bank transfer (BACS) or via sending a cheque in the post.

Yes, we like to keep things as flexible as possible. You’re able to pay the deposit over multiple payments, or the balance (which is due 48 hours before the date of installation).

Yes, it is one of the most popular celebrations. Unlike a traditional venue, marquee wedding gives you the flexibility to have a completely bespoke layout and decor. 

We typically quote for events up to 18 months away. If you’re planning an event which is farther ahead than this, we can provide a guide price but this is subject to change. 

Yes. We can erect a marquee almost anywhere as long as there is sufficient vehicle access and the footings are level and flat.

A site visit will be performed to assess the viability of installing a marquee.

All our marquees are dynamic PVC, which features premier quality, self-cleaning 100% Heavy-Duty PVC, and are widely regardings as the most durable marquee of its kind in the world.

Our smaller 6m and 9m wide units are built up in 3m increments and have an internal eaves height of 2.4m. This is the most common size for family events and is ideal up to guest numbers of around 120.

Hiring the marquee when it is cold does require heating. This is provided in the form of indirect heaters, which circulate warm air through ducts in the marquee. Price for heating depends on the size and layout of the chosen marquee, please contact us for further information.

Yes, the marquee is wind rated to 50mph winds. We reinforce the covers using premium event grade hooks and weighted barrels (sand or water) to ensure the marquee is as grounded as physically possible. Learn more about how we protect marquees from high wind. 

Thanks to the high-quality PVC covers and fastenings the marquee will stand up to heavy wind and rain conditions. You can be sure our marquees will not leak. 

Yorkshire Marquee Hire uses Gala Tent™ marquees. All marquees are fireproof rated to British Standard requirements – BS 5438 and BS 7837 after being tested rigorously by Intertek. Certifications can be produced on request.

Set up time can vary greatly and depend on the size, layout and components used on your chosen package. As a guide, our smallest structure on its own will take approximately 1 hour to erect, whereas a full marquee set up for 200 people will take a full day. As an average, a typical event will take our team 4-5 hours.

Yes. Each cover is wiped do remove dirt and leaves to ensure your marquee is gleaming.
